We can incorporate your legacy diamonds or gems into a new design and credit you for "old gold” as well to help pay for it.

We can work with a variety of budgets. The starting point for a completely custom or “bespoke” jewelry piece is about $500. Often custom engagement sets come in at $2,000-$4,000, but when it comes to the most extravagant visions, the sky's the limit! If you have the budget, we have the talent.

Designing your own engagement ring or other piece of jewerly can seem daunting, but we’re here to offer assurance and guidance. We break the process down by asking for specific information, like:

  • Example photos of jewelry you like
  • Shapes, themes, colors, or moods you want in the piece.
  • Practical details such as cut, color, stone type, metal type, etc.

We’ll prepare detailed 3D renderings and sometimes 3D prints for you to hold and try on during the consultation process so you can see your bespoke piece before we craft it.

We can source almost any material that isn’t extremely rare or illegal. If you have something specific in mind, feel free to ask us. If we aren’t able to get what you want, we’ll recommend alternatives.

When you design your own jewelry, you are getting a truly unique item. No two gemstones are the same, but by adding your own touch you can imbue your jewelry with added meaning, expressing your own personality, artistic flair, and spirit.

If you are in Tehachapi visit the studio during business hours or make an appointment. If you are not close by contact Michael directly via email. In either case create a file of photos of things you like or links from this site of designs you might want to modify. Michael will use CounterSketch with you in person or remotely and create a few ideas, and thus the dialog starts!
