Hands in Faith — the Posey-Fede Ring by Alari Design
At Alari Design, we believe jewelry should carry meaning, bear the mark of the maker, and grow with you. Our new “Posey-Fede Ring” brings all that into one piece.
The story behind the ring
The motif of two clasped hands—mani in fede (“hands in faith” in Italian)—has long been a symbol of love, trust, and commitment. According to the listing:
“This ring is a modern version of a famous gold fede ring that was recovered from the wreckage of the Spanish galleon La Girona, which sank in 1588 after being defeated in the English Channel as part of the Spanish Armada.”
The original ring carried the spanish inscription “No tengo mas que darte.” Or “I have nothing left to give you.” Our version references that exact phrase in english or spanish and honours the tradition of devotion across time.
The orginal gold Fede ring from the Spanish Armada.

How to wear it
